Carve Wood Wiki Companions Guide
Every helper system in Carve Wood on Roblox, separated into what the developer has confirmed and what the community speculates about.
Carve Wood on Roblox has one confirmed helper system (workers) and one system that the community has assumed exists but that we have not been able to verify through any primary source (pets). This page is the honest split: what we know, what we do not know, and how to plan your progression around the verified worker system until the developer publishes the next patch notes.
What we have verified
The official Carve Wood game description on Roblox lists four mechanics: grow rare trees, cut them down, carve logs, sell them to customers, and hire workers. Workers are the only confirmed helper in the game.
Workers are persistent NPCs that automate the chop, carve, and sell loops while you are online or offline. Every worker has a hire cost, a per-minute output, and a tier. The full verified worker tier list is on the Workers tier list page.
What we have not verified is any separate pet system. The community has assumed a pet system exists (with rarities, eggs, and a Mythic tier) based on the way other Roblox tycoons are structured, but no primary source — not the official game page, not the developer, not the verified Roblox badges — references pets as a mechanic.
What the wiki previously said
Earlier versions of this wiki had a dedicated Pet system page and a Pet tier list page that documented rarities, egg sources, and a Mythic pet. Those pages have been left in place for now because they document a system that may ship in a future patch, but every claim on those pages is now flagged as community speculation rather than verified fact.
If the developer ships a real pet system in a future patch, we will move the pet system content from speculation to verified and update the pet tier list with confirmed rarities, egg sources, and a Mythic tier if one exists. Until then, treat every pet claim as speculation.
The verified worker system
Workers are the only confirmed helper. The verified worker roster, in order of hire cost:
- Apprentice. The cheapest worker. Low per-minute output, but the best return-on-investment for the first hire. Recommended for every save.
- Journeyman. Mid-tier worker. Roughly 3x the Apprentice output at roughly 5x the hire cost. The standard second hire.
- Foreman. High-tier worker. The first hire that meaningfully shifts the cash-per-hour. Recommended as the third hire.
- Master Logger. Top-tier worker. Roughly 10x the Apprentice output. The hire that ends the early-game grind.
- Lumber Baron. Endgame worker. Hire cost is the largest in the game. The right hire only after at least one rebirth.
The full Workers tier list page ranks every worker by return-on-investment, biome gate, and stacking with rebirths.
How workers stack with the rest of the game
Workers stack with three other systems:
- Rebirth multiplier. Workers persist across rebirths at their hired tier. A full roster at the moment of rebirth means the post-rebirth save starts with the maximum worker output.
- Game pass multipliers. The Paintbrush 2x Customers pass multiplies the customer spawn rate, which multiplies the cash the workers earn per sale.
- Customer bonus rounds. Workers sell logs the moment a customer spawns. During a Gold 5x round, a full worker roster clears the bonus round within seconds.
The detailed stacking math is on the Customer bonus guide page.
What a real pet system would need to add
If the developer ships a pet system in a future patch, the minimum it would need to include to match the genre conventions:
- Egg sources. A way to obtain pet eggs (cash purchase, daily reward, event drop, or code redemption).
- Rarity tiers. A documented rarity ladder (typically Common to Mythic).
- Per-pet buffs. Each pet grants a permanent passive buff (cash multiplier, regrowth speed, worker speed, customer bonus chance).
- A pet inventory. A slot-based inventory with a documented maximum per save.
- Stacking rules. Documented rules for how multiple pets stack (multiplicative, additive, capped).
None of these mechanics are currently documented for Carve Wood. We will fill in this section the moment the developer publishes them.
How to plan around the unverified pet speculation
If you are a free-to-play player, the right move is to ignore pet speculation entirely and focus on the verified worker system. A full worker roster plus a single rebirth plus the Paintbrush 2x Customers pass is the strongest confirmed build in the game today.
If you are a Robux buyer considering a pet-related pass, wait. No pass on the verified Carve Wood store page mentions pets, eggs, or a pet slot. Any pet-related pass sold by a third party is unofficial and should not be purchased through any link other than the official Roblox game page.
