Carve Wood Wiki Carve Wood Customer Types Tier List
Every customer NPC ranked S to C by payout, spawn cadence, and the bonus round they trigger.
Customers are the demand side of the Carve Wood money loop on Roblox. There are six customer NPC variants, and each one pays a different base rate, triggers a different bonus round, and spawns on a different cadence. This page is the full customer types tier list, ranking every customer from S tier to C tier, with the payout math, the spawn cadence, and the right customer to target for each build archetype.\n\n## How we rank customers\n\nWe score each customer on four metrics:\n\n1. Base payout. The cash-per-log rate the customer pays with no bonus round active.\n2. Bonus round trigger. Which bonus round the customer’s appearance initiates.\n3. Spawn cadence. How often the customer spawns.\n4. Build fit. Whether the customer fits a speed-run, idle, or whale build.\n\nA high-scoring customer has a strong base payout, triggers a high-tier bonus round, spawns often, and compounds with the rest of the build.\n\n## The full customer tier list\n\n| Rank | Customer | Base payout | Bonus round | Spawn cadence |\n|------|----------|-------------|-------------|---------------|\n| S | Collector | 4x Epic/Legendary | Collector | 1 in 80 customers |\n| S | Gold Patron | 5x all logs | Gold 5x | 1 in 200 customers |\n| A | Silver Regular | 2x all logs | Silver 2x | 1 in 12 customers |\n| A | Gold Regular | 3x all logs | Gold 3x | 1 in 40 customers |\n| B | Bronze Regular | 1.5x all logs | Bronze | 1 in 5 customers |\n| C | Casual Buyer | 1x all logs | None | Always |\n\nThe Collector and Gold Patron sit at S tier because their bonus rounds stack multiplicatively with the rebirth multiplier and the game pass multiplier, producing single-sale payouts that no other customer can match.\n\n## S tier customers\n\nThe Collector is the rarest customer in Carve Wood on Roblox. It spawns once every 80 customers, which translates to roughly every 18 to 25 minutes of active play. When the Collector spawns, it pays 4x the base rate on every Epic and Legendary log you sell during the round. The round lasts 90 seconds, and the Collector stays at the customer stall for the full window.\n\nThe Collector is the right customer to bank for. A player who has 30 Legendary logs banked and sells them during a Collector round clears 30 x 35 x 4 = 4,200 cash in 90 seconds. If a Gold 5x round is also active (the two rounds can overlap), the same sell clears 30 x 35 x 4 x 5 = 21,000 cash in 90 seconds.\n\nThe Gold Patron spawns once every 200 customers, which is roughly every 45 to 60 minutes of active play. The Gold Patron pays 5x the base rate on every log you sell during the round — Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary all benefit. The round lasts 60 seconds.\n\nThe Gold Patron is the highest-payout customer for log-bank composition. A player who banks 50 mixed logs and sells them during a Gold Patron round clears roughly 50 x 25 x 5 = 6,250 cash in 60 seconds, which is the highest single-round payout of any customer in the game.\n\n## A tier customers\n\nThe Silver Regular spawns once every 12 customers. It pays 2x the base rate on every log and the round lasts 45 seconds. Silver Regulars are the workhorses of the mid-game because they spawn often enough that the player can plan around them.\n\nThe Gold Regular spawns once every 40 customers. It pays 3x the base rate and the round lasts 60 seconds. Gold Regulars are the right customers to bank for when no Collector or Gold Patron is in the spawn window.\n\n## B and C tier customers\n\nThe Bronze Regular spawns once every 5 customers and pays 1.5x the base rate. Bronze rounds are common enough that they show up during almost every chopping session, and a player who plans around the Bronze cadence can expect a Bronze round every 3 to 5 minutes.\n\nThe Casual Buyer is the default customer. It pays the base rate and spawns continuously. Casual Buyers are the C-tier customers because they generate no bonus multiplier — every log sold to a Casual Buyer is sold at the floor price. The only role Casual Buyers play is keeping the chopping loop profitable when no bonus round is active.\n\n## How customer types interact with the chopping loop\n\nThe customer type and the chopping loop are deeply intertwined. The player who chops Legendary wood and banks it for the Collector round clears 4x to 20x the cash of the player who chops Common wood and sells to a Casual Buyer.\n\nThe optimal chopping loop:\n\n1. Chop the highest-rarity wood available in your current biome.\n2. Bank the logs in your inventory rather than selling immediately.\n3. Watch the customer spawn counter — it advances every time a customer spawns.\n4. When the counter is within 5 of a Collector or Gold Patron spawn (counter divisible by 80 for Collector, 200 for Gold Patron), sell any logs that are not Legendary or Epic to free inventory space.\n5. When the Collector or Gold Patron lands, sell your full Legendary and Epic bank.\n\nThis loop is covered in detail on the Customer bonus guide page and projected by the Customer bonus calculator tool.\n\n## The customer counter exploit\n\nThere is no exploit. The customer spawn counter advances deterministically based on the player’s chopping loop. Players who chop at a steady rate can predict the next Collector or Gold Patron spawn to within 2 to 3 customers. Players who idle or chop irregularly lose the prediction accuracy.\n\nThe right cadence to maximise your prediction accuracy is roughly one chop every 3 to 5 seconds. Slower cadences throw off the counter; faster cadences do not actually increase the spawn rate, only the chop count.\n\n## Reader cross-links\n\n- Want the customer bonus math in full? Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the rarest customer in Carve Wood on Roblox?
The Gold Patron is the rarest customer, spawning once every 200 customers. The Collector is the second rarest, spawning once every 80 customers. Both are S tier because their bonus rounds stack multiplicatively with the rebirth and game pass multipliers.
How long does the Collector round last?
The Collector round lasts 90 seconds. During the round, every Epic and Legendary log you sell pays 4x the base rate. If a Gold 5x round is also active, the combined payout is 20x the base rate.
Do Common logs benefit from the Collector round?
No. The Collector round only stacks on Epic and Legendary wood types. Common and Rare logs sold during a Collector round pay only the base rate without the 4x multiplier.
Can you predict when the Collector or Gold Patron will spawn?
Yes, to within 2 to 3 customers. The spawn counter advances deterministically based on your chopping rate. Players who chop at a steady rate of 3 to 5 seconds per chop can predict the next rare spawn accurately enough to bank logs in advance.
