Carve Wood Wiki Customers Guide for Carve Wood on Roblox
Every customer at the stall, the bonus icons, the spawn cadence, and how to bank the rare collector round.
Customers are the only buyer of your logs in Carve Wood on Roblox. They spawn at the stall on the right side of the main yard, walk up, look at the carpentry display for about ten seconds, and either buy the top log in your inventory at the listed rate or leave if you have nothing for sale. The customer system is the highest-variance mechanic in the game because the bonus rounds are random, but the spawn cadence is predictable enough to bank around. This guide catalogues every customer type, the spawn rules for each, and the order to bank around the rare collector round that drives the Leaderboard strategy.
Every customer NPC in Carve Wood
There are six named customer NPCs in Carve Wood on Roblox. Each one spawns at the stall with a different rate, a different preferred wood, and a different payout multiplier. The full list:
- Villager — base-rate customer. Pays the standard rate for whichever log is at the top of your inventory. Spawns every 30 to 60 seconds. No icon, no bonus.
- Gold 2x Customer — bonus-round customer. Pays 2x the standard rate for every log you sell inside the round. Spawns every 5 to 10 minutes. Icon: gold ring + 2x badge.
- Gold 3x Customer — bonus-round customer. Pays 3x. Spawns every 12 to 18 minutes. Icon: gold ring + 3x badge.
- Gold 5x Customer — rare bonus-round customer. Pays 5x. Spawns roughly every 30 to 45 minutes. Icon: gold ring + 5x badge.
- Collector — premium customer. Pays 4x the standard rate for Epic and Legendary wood only, and pays the base rate for Common and Rare. Spawns every 15 to 25 minutes. Icon: purple ring + C badge.
- Rebirth Patron — only spawns after your first rebirth. Pays a flat 8x rate for any log you have in inventory at the moment of the spawn. Spawns every 45 to 90 minutes. Icon: white ring + infinity badge.
The customer bonus icons appear above the customer stall on the main HUD. The icon flashes for about three seconds before the customer walks up, which gives you time to walk from the chopping plot to the stall.
How the spawn cadence works
The spawn cadence is on a fixed timer that resets every time you join a server. The order is:
- Villagers spawn continuously between the bonus rounds. Expect one every 30 to 60 seconds during peak hours, and one every 60 to 120 seconds during off-peak.
- Gold 2x rounds trigger 30 to 60 seconds after you join a server, then every 5 to 10 minutes afterwards.
- Gold 3x rounds trigger 12 to 18 minutes after you join a server, then every 12 to 18 minutes afterwards.
- Gold 5x rounds are random. The verified pattern is one per 30 to 45 minutes of active play, with the first one usually arriving between minute 8 and minute 15 of a fresh server.
- Collector rounds trigger 15 to 25 minutes after you join, then every 15 to 25 minutes afterwards.
- Rebirth Patron rounds only exist after your first rebirth, and they trigger 45 to 90 minutes after the rebirth, then every 45 to 90 minutes afterwards.
The spawn cadence is the same on every server, which means you can predict your next bonus round within about a minute by watching the timer. Speed-run builds on the Best player builds page use this prediction to bank logs in the minute before a Gold 5x or Rebirth Patron round.
How to read the customer bonus icon
The icon appears above the stall on the main HUD. The icon has five states:
- No ring — the next customer is a Villager. Sell at your leisure.
- Grey ring — the next customer is a Villager who pays a slightly higher base rate. Sell normally.
- Gold ring + 2x badge — Gold 2x round. Bank logs and sell them all.
- Gold ring + 3x badge — Gold 3x round. Sell everything in your inventory.
- Gold ring + 5x badge — Gold 5x round. Sell everything, then chop another ten logs and sell those too if the window allows.
- Purple ring + C badge — Collector round. Sell only Epic and Legendary wood; bank the Common and Rare for the next round.
- White ring + infinity badge — Rebirth Patron round. Sell everything; the flat 8x rate makes this the highest-cash round in the game.
The icon flashes for about three seconds before the customer walks up. Players who miss the flash sell at the base rate instead of the bonus rate, which is the single biggest money leak in Carve Wood.
How to bank around the spawn cadence
The banking discipline is the same as the discipline on the Customer bonus guide page, with one addition. The full routine:
- Chop logs normally between rounds. Carry them in your inventory; do not sell them.
- Watch the icon above the stall. The moment it flashes gold or purple, walk to the stall.
- Sell every log in your inventory during the bonus round window.
- After the window closes, return to chopping and start the bank again.
- Hold at least ten logs in your inventory at all times. Selling fewer than ten logs during a Gold 5x round leaves money on the table.
The discipline is identical for every customer type. The only difference is the inventory filtering for Collector rounds, where Common and Rare wood is left unsold.
Common customer mistakes
- Selling on a Villager round. Villagers pay the base rate. Selling ten logs to a Villager instead of banking them for the next Gold 2x round costs you roughly 1.7x the cash per chop. Always bank for the bonus round.
- Missing the icon flash. The icon shows for about three seconds. Players who look away miss the round and sell at the base rate. The fix is to glance at the HUD every ten seconds.
- Selling Common wood on a Collector round. The Collector only pays the premium on Epic and Legendary wood. Selling Common wood during a Collector round pays the base rate; the round is wasted on the wrong inventory.
- Rebirthing during a Rebirth Patron round. Rebirth Patron rounds only exist on saves where you have already rebirthed. Players who rebirth mid-round lose the round for the rest of the session.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How often does the Gold 5x customer spawn?
Roughly every 30 to 45 minutes of active play. The first one usually arrives between minute 8 and minute 15 of a fresh server. The icon flashes for three seconds before the customer walks up.
What is the Rebirth Patron round?
A premium bonus round that only exists after your first rebirth. The Rebirth Patron pays a flat 8x rate on every log you sell during the round window. The round is the highest-cash event in the game.
Should I sell Common wood on a Collector round?
No. The Collector only pays the 4x premium on Epic and Legendary wood. Common and Rare wood pays the base rate, which means the round is wasted on the wrong inventory.
Why does the icon flash before the customer walks up?
The icon is a 3-second warning so you can walk to the stall before the bonus round starts. Players who miss the flash sell at the base rate instead of the bonus rate.
