Biomes are the big gates in Carve Wood on Roblox. Each new biome unlocks higher-rarity trees, better workers, and a fresh customer rotation that pays more per log. The catch is that every biome has a hard cost gate and a soft progression gate — you need the cash, the axe, and the worker roster before the biome unlocks.

Biome one — the starter biome

Biome two — the lumber grove

Biome two unlocks after you hit three milestones:

1. Reach 25,000 lifetime cash.
2. Own at least one Rare axe (the Rare Pine Pick or Rare Maple Maul).
3. Hire the Journeyman Logger.

Once all three are true, the biome two gate on the right edge of the lumber yard becomes interactive. Tap it, pay the 15,000 cash unlock fee, and biome two loads in.

Biome two ships:

• Epic trees (2x yield, 6-minute growth).
• Master Logger worker for hire.
• Cedar Slasher axe in the shop — niche pick on the tier list, strong on cedar trees.
• A new customer rotation with higher base payouts.

Most players hit biome two inside their second session. The bottleneck is usually the Journeyman Logger hire, not the cash.

Biome three — the deep forest

Biome three unlocks after:

1. 100,000 lifetime cash.
2. Own an Epic axe (the Epic Birchblade Pro or Epic Cedar Slasher).
3. Hire the Master Logger.
4. Plant at least one Legendary seed.

The unlock fee is 60,000 cash. Biome three ships:

• Legendary trees (3x yield, 18-minute base growth).
• Foreman worker for hire — boosts every other worker by 20%.
• The Legendary Ironwood Cleaver enters the shop.
• The highest-paying customer rotation.

Biome three is the end-game biome. Players who reach it typically settle into the idle build and log out for long sessions, banking offline growth.

Fastest route to the next biome

The fastest route through biomes is the same in every patch:
