How easy the pet is to obtain. Common pets are cheap to hatch; Ancient pets are event-only.\n4. Stackability. How the buff compounds with workers, axes, and the rebirth multiplier.\n5. Build fit. Whether the pet fits a speed-run, idle, or whale build archetype.\n\nA high-scoring pet has a strong floor buff, a high ceiling roll, accessible hatch odds, and a buff that compounds with the rest of the build. It hatches only from event drops, which makes it rarer than any Mythic or Legendary pet, and it grants the full Ancient-tier buff floor plus a +5% offline cash bonus that no other pet tier matches. Aurora is the right pet for idle builds and the Offline progress guide endgame.\n\nObsidian the Lava Bear is the second Ancient pet. It has the same buff floor as Aurora but rolls slightly higher on the chop speed ceiling. Obsidian is the right pick for speed-run builds where the goal is to maximise active chops per minute.\n\nRoot the Ancient Wolf is the strongest Mythic pet. It grants the full Mythic buff floor (+18% chop, +10% cash, +5% regrowth) and rolls higher on the regrowth ceiling than any other Mythic. They have the same buff floor but roll slightly different ceilings — Ash favours chop, Ironbark favours cash, Tide favours regrowth. The Epic tier is the highest-rarity pet most players can afford to hatch on a regular basis.\n\nThe four Rare pets — Barkley, Bramble, Flint, Thistle — share the Rare buff floor and roll slightly different ceilings.
