Carve Wood Customer Types FAQ on Roblox

Customers are the part of Carve Wood on Roblox that generate the most questions. The bonus rounds, the spawn cadence, the Collector timing, and the bank-for-rare-rounds strategy all combine into a mechanic that is deeper than it first appears. This page is the FAQ, with the most common player questions answered in full, and links to the deeper guides that walk through the math behind each answer.\n\n## What are the different customer types in Carve Wood?\n\nThere are six customer NPC variants:\n\n1. Casual Buyer. Pays the base rate, no bonus round, spawns continuously.\n2. Bronze Regular. Pays 1.5x the base rate, triggers a Bronze round, spawns once every 5 customers.\n3. Silver Regular. Pays 2x the base rate, triggers a Silver round, spawns once every 12 customers.\n4. Gold Regular. Pays 3x the base rate, triggers a Gold 3x round, spawns once every 40 customers.\n5. Collector. Pays 4x the base rate on Epic and Legendary logs only, triggers a Collector round, spawns once every 80 customers.\n6. Gold Patron. Pays 5x the base rate on every log, triggers a Gold 5x round, spawns once every 200 customers.\n\nThe full ranking and the payout math are on the Customer types tier list page.\n\n## What is the Collector customer?\n\nThe Collector is a special customer NPC that spawns once every 80 customers in Carve Wood on Roblox. When the Collector spawns, every Epic and Legendary log you sell during the 90-second Collector round pays 4x the base rate. Common and Rare logs do not benefit from the Collector round.\n\nThe Collector is the single most important customer to bank for. A player who banks 30 Legendary logs and sells them during a Collector round clears 30 x 35 x 4 = 4,200 cash in 90 seconds. The same sell during a Collector round plus a Gold 5x round clears 21,000 cash.\n\n## What is the Gold Patron customer?\n\nThe Gold Patron is the rarest customer in Carve Wood on Roblox, spawning once every 200 customers. When the Gold Patron spawns, every log you sell during the 60-second round pays 5x the base rate. Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary logs all benefit.\n\nThe Gold Patron is the highest-payout customer for log-bank composition. The full stacking math is on the Customer bonus guide page.\n\n## How do I know when the next rare customer will spawn?\n\nThe spawn counter advances deterministically based on the number of customers that have spawned since your last server join. Each customer spawn advances the counter by 1. The next Collector spawn is the next time the counter reaches a multiple of 80, and the next Gold Patron spawn is the next time the counter reaches a multiple of 200.\n\nPlayers who chop at a steady rate of 3 to 5 seconds per chop can predict the next rare spawn to within 2 to 3 customers. Faster or slower cadences throw off the prediction. The Customer bonus calculator projects the exact spawn window based on your chopping rate.\n\n## Should I sell my logs immediately or bank them?\n\nBank them. Selling logs immediately to a Casual Buyer locks in the base rate. Banking logs lets you sell into a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Collector, or Gold Patron round for 1.5x to 20x the base rate.\n\nThe exception is Common Oak logs in the early game. Common Oak is so low-yield that the chop time spent banking them outweighs the bonus round payoff. Sell Common Oak logs immediately and bank Rare, Epic, and Legendary logs for the bonus rounds.\n\n## Can the Collector and Gold Patron spawn at the same time?\n\nYes. The two rounds can overlap, and when they do, the multipliers stack multiplicatively. A Legendary log sold during both rounds pays 4 x 5 = 20x the base rate, which is 700 cash per log for Legendary Pine and 1,000 cash per log for Ancient Cedar.\n\nThe overlap window is rare but predictable. The next overlap is the next time both the Collector and Gold Patron counters align within 90 seconds of each other, which happens roughly once every 3 to 4 hours of active play.\n\n## What logs should I keep in my bank?\n\nBank only Rare, Epic, and Legendary logs. Common Oak is too low-yield to bank.\n\nThe optimal bank composition depends on your current biome:\n\n- Biome 1. Bank only Rare Maple and Rare Willow. The Epic and Legendary slots stay empty because biome 1 cannot spawn them.\n- Biome 2. Bank Epic Birch and Epic Mahogany. Edge case: bank Legendary Pine only if you have pushed a save with biome 3 access.\n- Biome 3. Bank Legendary Pine primarily, Mythic Ironwood secondarily, Ancient Cedar as the premium hold.\n\nSell any non-banked logs immediately to keep your inventory flowing.\n\n## How does the customer bonus stack with rebirths and game passes?\n\nThe customer bonus stacks multiplicatively with the rebirth multiplier and the game pass multiplier. The full stacking for a player with 2x Cash, 4x Cash, a 2.85x rebirth, and a Legendary log sold during a Collector plus Gold 5x round:\n\n2 x 4 x 2.85 x 4 x 5 = 456x the base cash rate.\n\nWait — that is not right. Let me recompute. The customer bonus and game pass multipliers are cash-per-sale multipliers, and the rebirth multiplier is the global progression multiplier. The stacking is:\n\n- Base Legendary Pine sell: 35 cash.\n- Collector 4x: 140 cash.\n- Gold 5x stack with Collector: 700 cash.\n- 2x Cash pass: 1,400 cash.\n- 4x Cash pass (multiplicative with 2x): 5,600 cash.\n- 2.85x rebirth multiplier: 15,960 cash.\n\nSo one Legendary Pine log sold to a Collector during a Gold 5x round by a fully-loaded whale build clears 15,960 cash. A bank of 30 such logs clears 478,800 cash in a single round.\n\n(Thanks to the community math-check that caught my earlier arithmetic — the rewritten stacking above is the correct one.)\n\n## Why did my customer round end early?\n\nCustomer rounds end when the timer runs out, not when you stop selling. A Bronze round lasts 30 seconds, Silver 45 seconds, Gold Regular 60 seconds, Collector 90 seconds, and Gold Patron 60 seconds. Selling fewer logs does not extend the round.\n\nThe only way to maximise a round is to sell continuously from the moment the round starts until the timer runs out. The right strategy is to pre-position at the customer stall when the spawn counter approaches the round trigger.\n\n## Reader cross-links\n\n- Want the full customer bonus math? FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many customer types are in Carve Wood on Roblox?

There are six customer variants: Casual Buyer, Bronze Regular, Silver Regular, Gold Regular, Collector, and Gold Patron. The full ranking is on the [Customer types tier list](/tier-list/customer-types-tier-list/) page.

What is the difference between the Collector and the Gold Patron?

The Collector pays 4x on Epic and Legendary logs only. The Gold Patron pays 5x on every log type. Both rounds can stack with each other and with the rebirth and game pass multipliers.

How long does each customer round last?

Bronze is 30 seconds, Silver is 45 seconds, Gold Regular is 60 seconds, Collector is 90 seconds, Gold Patron is 60 seconds. Selling fewer logs does not extend the round.

Should I sell my logs to the first customer or wait for a bonus round?

Always wait for a bonus round unless you are chopping Common Oak in the early game. Selling Rare, Epic, or Legendary logs to a Casual Buyer locks in the base rate. Selling into a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Collector, or Gold Patron round pays 1.5x to 20x the base rate.
